FVTVR IS NOW

On the occasion of the début edition of MATTER and SHAPE in Paris, PIN–UP took over the recently opened CLUB FVTVR for a seven-hour rager to celebrate the arrival of spring. Located at river level and seemingly carved into the lower floors of Paris’s Cité de la Mode et du Design (a building by architects Jakob + MacFarlane), the minimalist space of CLUB FVTVR feels like a cross between a spaceship and an abandoned abattoir: all concrete and tunnel-shaped complete with a state of the art DJ altar. CLUB FVTVR is also known to have one of the most sophisticated sound systems in the French capital, regularly attracting the best DJs from around the world. The PIN–UP event was no exception, with Bobby Beethoven, Bill Kouligas, and Norman Nodge on the decks, keeping about 700 partiers moving until 6 am.
