CLUB GLAM NEW AMERICANA

On December 1, 2022, PIN–UP and Swiss Institute hosted a party with New York’s Club Glam to celebrate Miami Art Week and the magazine’s new issue: PIN–UP 33, New Americana. The event was held in BASEMENT at the Miami Beach EDITION, which was lit in red, white, and blue for the occasion. Guests sipped on Belvedere and Volcan cocktails while making the most of the space’s bowling alley. On the decks: DJs Sausha and Club Glam head mistress Dese Escobar, who confidently mixed their signature blend of downtown flip-phone party girl club music. Surprise guests of the night were professional ice skaters Karina and Pierre, styled from head to toe in Barragán Spring Summer 2023. The pair commanded South Beach’s only ice rink for about half an hour before the skating bug caught on and dozens of guests joined them on the frozen water. No serious injuries were reported.
